Mario Flores
Founder/PartnerMario brings thirty-eight years of management and leadership experience to Brick & Mortar Funding. In addition to investing in various commercial and residential real estate ventures in the Upstate over the last 5 years, he most recently served as the CEO and founder of Flores & Associates for 33 years. His leadership, guidance and progressive “outside the box” thinking guided the firm to become a nationally recognized leader in the administration of tax-advantaged accounts such as Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Reimbursement Arrangements, and Health Savings Accounts, along with administration of COBRA and client specific billing services. Mario’s professional background consists of 5 years with International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) in a management capacity with emphasis in the Human Resources and Benefits field. Prior to establishing Flores & Associates, Mario worked for a regional Human Resources consulting firm for 3 years. Mario is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In addition to his extensive work experience, Mario had been actively involved in the community by serving on the Board of Directors at Belmont Abbey College and as the Chairman of the HandsNFeet Foundation.
Nick Franchina
Founder/PartnerA Greenville native, Nick Franchina has had his hand in just about everything when it comes to real estate. After just a few years as a young successful real estate agent Nick branched off and founded Access Realty in 1999. Access now consist of more than 30 residential and commercial agents, along with GSA Property Management, a subsidiary management company with a portfolio of more than 500 residential and commercial rental properties. In 2009 Nick was one of the key members in launching Regent Bank where he served on the Board of Directors and Loan Committee. In recent years Nick has played a major role in the rapid growth of Upstate South Carolina by developing nearly 40 residential communities, adding more than 2,000 roofs to the Upstate.
